Several machines have been running tcpbanger against the NetCache for this test. A few remarks: Because the tcpbanger on Simsplace dit run but used a max. connection rate of 0, as had the banger on The-end, the highest number of bangers running at any one time was 9. Overall 8 bangers have run all night, resulting in a maximum connection rate of 576, 512 all night long. from the graphs below you can see the NetApp neatly follows the connections, so the only result from this test is: The NetCache can handle at least this number of connections. To determine it's limitation on this field one should either use a different test or more (and faster) hardware.
